Hercules John - born March 25, 197 of English descent, and
has spent over four decades as a successful singer, composer,
and pianist. With over 50 top 40 hits and over 250 million albums
sold, Elton John is music royalty. Sir Elton John was inducted
into the Rock N Roll Hall Fame in 1994 and was knighted in 1998.

Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth
Dwight in Pinner England. His father was a squadron leader in the
RAF. His parents divorced at a young age, and it was said that he
was raised primarily by his mother.
Elton John began his musical career
at the age of 4 when he took the paino, which would be a very wise
decision. At the age of eleven Elton John won a scholarship to the
Royal Academy of Music. He would stay there for roughly 6 years,
leaving to pursue his musical career. Elton formed his first
band "The Corvettes" in 1960 with a friend, they later
changed their name to Bluesology, which backed several R&B singers
on the road at the time including the Isley Brothers.
A little known fact, Elton John tried out
as the lead vocalist for King Crimson & Gentle Giant. Although
he didn't get either gig, it was a turnig point in his career. Elton
John turned solo in the 1970s, with the help of some friends, and
quickly started stringing up the hits. From the 1970's to today,
Elton has sold millions of records & has sold out countless
