KA means Fire, and what a hot show it
is. KA is one of five Cirque Du Soleil shows on the
Las Vegas strip, and it currently performs at the MGM Grand.
KA is the first show from Cirque Du Soleil that deviated
from the Cirque tradition. KA brings in a more Vegas appeal to the
show along with the over the top theatrics from Cirque Du Soleil.
The presentation is very straight forward and understandable. The
plot of KA is the tail of two twins, a brother &
sister, and their journey through an unknown land. Durning the annual
Sword & Fight Competition the family is attacked. The story
shows the familys struggle with their attackers and the strange
encounters they occur.
KA is a brilliant combination of acrobatics,
singing, live musical performances, acting, automation, pyrotechnics,
puppets, and brilliant audio. Each seat at the KA theatre
inside the MGM Grand has a pair of high-definition speakers.
Be sure to watch the visuals before the show. Actors leap into the
air over the audience, ecouraging participation and laughter. KA
is produced by Rene Dupere and performs several shows a night at
the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
