France by Leroux. Phantom of the Opera was translated into English
in 1911. It has been adapted to many different platforms over the
years from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical to a major motion picture.
The story is of a demented man, with a brilliant
mind, who's face is deformed, and contiues to terrorize the Opera
Garnier. He takes up his liar at the Opera Garnier and falls in
love with a beautiful singer there.
